Tour Plan
NJP (New Jalpaiguri) to Lataguri / Murti – Pick up from NJP to Murti Resort. The car would take you through the elephant corridor and dense parts of Baikunthpur Forest and cross River Teesta to halt at Gajoldoba Reservoir, where you would find migratory birds from Central Asia in winter. This reservoir watered by a barrage on River Teesta is a birdwatcher’s paradise and you can even take short boat trips to get close to the birds. Reach Lataguri / Murti by lunch time. (You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari in the evening or the next day morning at your own Cost). Overnight at Lataguri/ Murti.
Lataguri / Murti sightseeing – (You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari this morning, if you have not taken jeep safari the previous day). After breakfast at resort, leave for Samsing. On the way sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Rocky Island. Overnight at Murti River Side.
After breakfast Move to Chilapata Forest . On the way visit Jaldapara National Park, Jaldapara Tiger camp,( Evening Jeepsy Safari at Chalapata forest is optional)
Night Stay at Chilapata Foest.
Visit Buxa Fort, buxa Museum, Jayati River.
Stay at Jayanti and enjoy the river belt.
ou can also opt for Elephant Safari on availability. Also included is sightseeing at Chilapata Forest. Drop to New Alipurduar Railway station via Coochbehar Rajbari Sightseeing.
